Vanilla Seed Cycle Bliss Balls Recipe

Seed Cycling Recipes for natural hormone balance. Phase 2 blend - Vanilla Seed Cycle Bliss Balls recipe (Ovulatory and Luteal Phase Days 15-28)

I love the convenience and versatility of adding the Seed Cycle blends to salads, yoghurt bowls and soups. But, there is nothing more exciting than knowing I ‘have’ to eat a delicious snack every single day!

This seed cycling recipe is super easy to make and can be altered to suit your needs and dietary and allergy requirements.

The Vanilla Seed Cycle Bliss Balls are specifically for Phase 2 - the Ovulatory and Luteal Phase (which is days 15 to 28 of your cycle).

The sesame seeds and sunflower seeds in the Phase 2 blend support progesterone levels. Other benefits of our Phase 2 blend include:

  • Sunflower seeds and sesame seeds are high in omega-6 fatty acids which help reduce PMS related inflammation;
  • Sesame seeds are rich in magnesium and calcium, which help with the absorption of magnesium. This is a great way to ease PMS cramps and provide an immunity boost;
  • Sesame seeds are high in lignans and help harmonize and modulate estrogen levels;
  • Sunflower seeds are rich in selenium which is essential for liver function, and to ensure proper detoxification and elimination of excess hormones.

Vanilla Seed Cycle Bliss Balls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
  • 8 large Medjool dates
  • 3 tablespoons rice malt syrup
  • 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container of The Seed Cycle Phase 2 blend (240g)
  • 1 cup of sesame seeds, for coating

Method

1.  Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend for approximately 3-5 minutes until the mixture comes together.

2. With wet hands, roll the mixture into balls (14 larger balls or 28 smaller balls will give you the correct dosage for daily intake of the seed blend) If the mixture feels a bit too dry, just add a little water.

3. Roll your vanilla seed cycle bliss balls in sesame seeds or your choice of coatings and refrigerate or freeze in an airtight container until ready to eat.

Enjoy!

*Note: You could half the recipe and make a fresh batch each week. To be extra-accurate with the serving sizes, you can weigh the total ingredient amount and divide by 14 or 28 to know how large to make each bliss ball.
