There are many women use seed cycling to help adjust to a regular menstrual cycle when getting off the Pill. This may have already been suggested to you by a Nutritionist or Naturopath.

Internationally acclaimed hormone expert, nutrition scientist Dr. Jolene Brighten states "Being on hormonal birth control causes hormonal mayhem. Similarly, stopping birth control without supporting your body can also cause severe symptoms. This is why, in Beyond the Pill, I recommend women begin seed cycling when coming off of birth control."

You can start seed cycling at any time – meaning you don’t have to wait until a specific day to begin with the seed blends.

What if I have irregular periods, PCOS or Endometriosis?

Scientific research has shown promising results for PCOS symptoms. In a study, approximately 36% of participants experienced significant changes or complete degeneration of cysts. Additionally, nearly half of the participants had fewer cysts compared to a control group where cyst numbers increased.

Before starting seed cycling or any dietary regimen, it's crucial to consult with your healthcare practitioner. If seed cycling aligns with your health plan, you can implement it using the moon phases as a natural cycle reference. Find out more about seed cycling with the moon phases here.

Do your seeds come whole or ground?

Our seeds come ground which we do in small batches to ensure stability and nutrient quality of the seeds. Oxygen absorbers are also used in our Phase 1 and 2 containers.  When seed cycling, it's important to consume ground seeds as opposed to whole seeds for a few reasons.

First, consuming ground seeds makes it easier for the body to absorb the nutrients contained in the seeds. Whole seeds have a hard outer shell that can be difficult for the body to break down, which can limit the amount of nutrients that are absorbed. Ground seeds, on the other hand, have a larger surface area, making it easier for the body to access the nutrients contained within them.

Second, ground seeds are often easier to digest than whole seeds, which can be beneficial for people with gastrointestinal issues.

Are your seeds certified organic?

Yes our seeds are Australian Certified Organic. (ACO13335) When practicing seed cycling, it’s strongly recommended to use certified organic seeds to ensure that you are consuming seeds that are free from harmful chemicals, pesticides, and other contaminants.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we are so grateful that so many of you have been sharing seed cycling with your family, friends and clients. We are excited to launch our program which means by signing up to The Seed Cycle Affiliate Program you can earn commission on product sales.

What if I have a seed allergy?

Seed cycling is not recommended for people who have seed allergies to all four key seeds, including flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds. However, there are alternative approaches you can explore. For instance, if you're allergic to sesame seeds but not to the other three seeds, you can still seed cycle by following Phase 1 as usual, and in Phase 2, doubling the dose of the sunflower seeds instead of including sesame seeds. With this modification, you can still experience the benefits of seed cycling and promote hormonal balance naturally.
